About James Gardner

James Gardner is a performing artist, music teacher, and worship leader who recently moved to Poteau, Oklahoma from Nashville, TN. He worked in the music business for 6 years in Nashville, as a record producer, vocal coach, songwriter, and pianist/vocalist. He also taught for vocal guru Brett Manning's private studio on Music Row and is a Brett Manning Certified teacher and Singing Success dealer. James holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in music from Wheaton College and the University of Miami. He teaches music to people of all ages, from pre-school to college and beyond. When he's not teaching piano or voice, James helps local churches develop blended worship, leads worship for youth, and plays piano for the local Cavanal Chorale.
